Ziegler Capital Acquires Minority Interest in GIA Partners

On December 1, 2020, Ziegler Capital Management, LLC announced that it has acquired a minority interest in Seward & Kissel client GIA Partners, LLC.

Under the terms of the transaction, Ziegler Capital Management, LLC (“Ziegler”) acquired a minority stake in Seward & Kissel client GIA Partners, LLC (“GIA”). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. A Seward & Kissel team led by partners Robert Van Grover and James Cofer and associates Danielle Lemberg and Jaime Ma represented GIA in connection with this transaction.

GIA, based in New York is an asset manager that specializes in fixed income and credit strategies. It has over $2.4 billion in assets under management.

Ziegler is a Chicago-based asset management firm. The firm provides services to individuals, institutions, mutual fund sub-advisory clients, municipalities, pension plans and Taft Hartley investors. It has over $9.6 billion in total assets as of October 31, 2020.
