MarshBerry Viewpoint Update
On July 10, 2026, MarshBerry published its July ViewPoint Update (the “Report”), analyzing M&A deal activity for June 2026. The Report noted that 2026 M&A activity through June reached 187 announced transactions, representing a 2.7% increase over the 182 transactions announced during the same period in 2025. The Report indicated that private equity backed wealth acquirers continue to represent the largest share of market activity, making up 72% of announced transactions in 2026. Further, according to the Report, 32.1% of announced transactions are attributable to the ten most active buyers in the sector.
