F.L. Putnam Acquires Seascape Capital

On July 8, 2026, F.L. Putnam Investment Management Company announced its acquisition of Seascape Capital Management.

F.L. Putnam Investment Management Company (“FLP”) announced, on July 8, 2026, that it had acquired Seascape Capital Management (“Seascape”). In the acquisition, Seascape’s founder and chief executive officer, Monica McCarthy, has transitioned to the role of managing director of the private client group at FLP. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

FLP, based in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, is a registered investment adviser providing investment management and wealth management services to individuals and families. FLP oversees approximately $11 billion in client assets.

Seascape, based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is a registered investment adviser providing financial planning, investment management and related advisory services to its clients. Seascape oversees approximately $500 million in client assets.
