DeVoe & Company published an RIA M&A Deal Report for the first quarter of 2023 (the “Report”), which analyzes M&A activity among Registered Investment Advisors. The Report shows that M&A activity slowed in the first quarter of 2023, with 63 total transactions. of the date of the report, 38 RIA transactions had been completed. However, the number of transactions is significantly larger than pre-covid, where Q1 of 2020 saw 35 transactions.
