On December 14, 2021, Merchant Investment Management, LLC announced it partnered with Brainvest Wealth Management.
Under the terms of the agreement, Merchant Investment Management, LLC (“Merchant”) made a minority equity investment in Brainvest Wealth Management (“Brainvest”). Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Merchant, based in New York, is a private partnership providing growth capital, management resources, strategic opportunities and direction to independent financial services companies, particularly those focused on wealth and asset management.
Brainvest, with offices in the United States, Switzerland, and Brazil, is an investment management firm offering succession planning, estate and financial planning, risk management, tax and offshore entity management, consolidation systems, and investment management services to families and entrepreneurs. Brainvest has approximately $3 billion in assets under management.
