Summit Acquires Financial Investment Team
Summit Wealth Group (“Summit”) announced, on September 2, 2026, its acquisition of Financial Investment Team (“FIT”). Under the terms of the transaction, all ten FIT employees, including three advisors, will join Summit, and FIT will operate under the Summit brand. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Summit, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a registered investment advisor offering financial planning and investment management services. As of September 8, 2026, Summit had approximately $182 million in regulatory assets under management.
FIT, based in Portland, Oregon, is a registered investment advisor offering financial planning services. As of August 25, 2026, FIT managed approximately $224 million in client assets. FP Transitions served as advisor on the transaction.
