On January 10, 2023, Focus Financial Partners announced that Financial Partners Capital Management will join GYL Financial.
Under the terms of the transaction, Financial Partners Capital Management, LLC (“FPCM”) will join GYL Financial Strategies, LLC (“GYL”). The transaction is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2023, subject to standard closing conditions.
GYL, based in West Hartford, Connecticut, is an investment management firm serving individual and institutional clients in 38 states. GYL has approximately $3 billion in assets under management as of November, 2022.
FPCM, based in New York City, is an investment manager serving high-net-worth individuals and families. As of March 2022, FPCM had $742 million in assets under management.
