On December 16, 2024, Savant Wealth Management announced its acquisition of Seward & Kissel client Source Financial Advisors.
Savant Wealth Management (“Savant”) announced, on December 16, 2024, its acquisition of Source Financial Advisors, LLC (“Source Financial”). Michelle Smith joins Savant as a managing director, financial advisor, and member-owner. Lauren Lisbon, a relationship manager and family office services specialist, joins Savant as an associate advisor. Megan Benner, chief compliance officer and client services specialist, is now a member of the Savant client services team. Sean Smith, marketing director, assumes the role of transition consultant, and AnnMarie Broughton, CPA, director, and forensic accountant, is now an accounting manager at Savant Tax & Consulting. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed. Seward & Kissel served as counsel to Source Financial in connection with the transaction, with a team comprised of Partners Craig Sklar, Noelle Indelicato, Michael Watling, Brett Cotler, and Casey Jennings, Counsel Beth Alter and Ian Silver, and Associates Evangelos Konstantinou, Grace Dahlstrom, Joy Su, Shayna Roth, Elyse Moy, Brian Kohn, and Charlie Enberg.
Savant, based in Rockford, Illinois, is a fee-only registered investment adviser that offers investment management, financial planning, retirement plans and family office services to financially established individuals and institutions. As of November 2024, Savant had approximately $28.6 billion in assets under management.
Source Financial, based in New York, is a financial planner that primarily serves high-net-worth women who have experienced or are navigating divorce. As of September 2024, Source Financial had approximately $519 million in assets under management.
