On June 1, 2023, CAPTRUST Financial Advisors announced the acquisition of Omega Wealth Partners.
Under the terms of the transaction, CAPTRUST Financial Advisors (“Captrust”) acquired Omega Wealth Partners (“Omega”). Nine Omega employees, including the three co-owners, will join Captrust. Omega will also take on the Captrust name. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Captrust, based in New York City, provides financial services to retirement plan fiduciaries, endowments, and estate planning services to high-net-worth individuals. Captrust has $714 billion in client assets under advisement.
Omega, based in Fort Worth, Texas, provides investment advice, specializing in multi-generational planning. Omega has over $710 million in assets under management. Park Sutton Advisors served as Omega’s exclusive financial advisor on the transaction.
