ECHELON Partners LLC published an RIA M&A Deal Report (the “Report”) for the year of 2022, analyzing M&A activity among Registered Investment Advisors. The Report shows a record number of transactions over the course of the calendar year, with a modest decline in deal volume from the fourth quarter of 2021. Although deal size declined, it remained above pre-2020 levels.
