On March 9, 2023, CAPTRUST Financial Advisors announced the acquisition of Monroe Vos Counsulting.
Under the terms of the transaction, CAPTRUST Financial Advisors (“Captrust”) acquired Monroe Vos Consulting (“Monroe Vos”). 17 Monroe Vos employees will join Captrust. Monroe Vos will also take on the Captrust name. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Captrust, based in New York City, provides financial services to retirement plan fiduciaries, endowments, and estate planning services to high-net-worth individuals. Captrust has $775 billion in client assets under advisement.
Monroe Vos, based in Houston, is a registered investment adviser that provides wealth advisory services to high net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. Monroe Vos has approximately $5.8 billion in assets under advisement. Park Sutton Advisors, a Waller Helms Company, served as Monroe Vos’s exclusive financial advisor on the transaction.
