On April 28, 2023, Audax Private Equity announced an investment in Congress Wealth Management.
Under the terms of the transaction, Audax Private Equity (“Audax PE”) has made a strategic investment in Congress Wealth Management (“Congress”) by purchasing a stake previously held by CI Financial. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Audax PE, based in Boston, is the private equity division of the investment management firm Audax Group. Audax PE focuses on leveraged investments in lower middle market companies and has a $3.5 billion fund.
Congress, based in Boston, is a registered investment advisor serving families and high-net-worth individuals. Congress manages over $5 billion in client assets.
