White Oak Acquires Minority Interest in FCO Advisors

On April 3, 2018, Seward & Kissel client White Oak Equity Partners announced that it had acquired a minority interest in FCO Advisors LP.

Hector Negroni, CEO and CFO of FCO Advisors LP (“FCO”), will retain control over the firm’s financial strategy and day to day operations. A Seward & Kissel team led by Business Transactions Group partner Meir Grossman and associate Danielle Lemberg represented White Oak Equity Partners (“White Oak”) in connection with the transaction. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

White Oak is a private equity firm that purchases non-controlling GP interests in alternative asset management firms.

FCO is an investment fund manager that specializes in private municipal credit. FCO has over $1 billion in assets under management.
