WH Ireland to Acquire Harpsden Wealth Management

On November 30, 2020, WH Ireland announced it entered into a conditional acquisition agreement to acquire the entire issued share capital of Harpsden Wealth Management Limited.

Under the terms of the conditional acquisition agreement, WH Ireland will acquire Harpsden Wealth Management Limited (“Harpsden”). The new management team will be led by Phillip Wale. To fund the acquisition, WH Ireland is trying to raise £5.3 million by issuing 13.3 million ordinary shares at 40p per share with the remainder covered by two payments of £1.25 million each over two years. Polygon Partners and M&G, shareholders of WH Ireland, have conditionally agreed to participate in the placing. Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Harpsden, based in the United Kingdom, is an independent financial advisory and wealth management company. Harpsden has £250 million in assets under management and £140 million in assets under influence.
