On March 23, 2023, Wealthspire Advisors LLC announced that it would purchase Heron Financial Group, LLC, doing business as Heron Wealth.
Under the terms of the transaction, Wealthspire Advisors LLC (“Wealthspire”) has agreed to purchase Heron Financial Group, LLC (“Heron Wealth”). The Heron Wealth team will join Wealthspire. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2023, subject to standard regulatory approvals.
Wealthspire, based in New York, is a registered investment advisor that acts as a wealth manager, investment advisor and consultant. Wealthspire had over $16 billion in assets under management as of September 2022.
Heron Wealth, based in New York City, is a property and casualty broker, wealth manager and retirement plan advisor. Heron Wealth has approximately $300 million in client assets under management. Park Sutton served as financial advisor to Heron Wealth on the transaction.
