On November 22, 2021, Wealthspire Advisors announced it would acquire Private Ocean, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Wealthspire Advisors (“Wealthspire”) will acquire Private Ocean, LLC (“Private Ocean”). The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Wealthspire, based in New York, is an independent registered investment advisor. As of June 30, 2021, Wealthspire had approximately $13.5 billion in assets under management.
Private Ocean, based in San Rafael, California, is a fiduciary wealth management firm with $2.7 billion in assets.
