Waverly Advisors, LLC (“Waverly”) announced on July 23, 2024, that it acquired River Capital Advisors, L.C. (“River Capital”) in a transaction that closed on July 19, 2024. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Waverly, based in Birmingham, Alabama, is a fee-only registered investment advisor specializing in investment management, financial planning and wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals, corporate retirement plans and institutional clients. Waverly had approximately $12.2 billion in assets under management.
River Capital, based in Jacksonville, Florida, is an investment advisory business providing investment, retirement, and financial planning services. River Capital had approximately $294 million in assets under management.
