On September 1, 2022, Wave Financial LLC announced the acquisition of Criptonite Asset Management.
Under the terms of the agreement, Wave Financial LLC (“Wave”) has acquired a minority stake in Criptonite Asset Management (“Criptonite”). Wave plans to acquire 100% of Criptonite, with the transaction expected to be completed by the end of 2022, subject to regulatory approval. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Wave is a Los Angeles based crypto investment manager providing digital asset management for institutional and private clients.
Criptonite, based in Geneva, Switzerland, is an investment management company with a focus on digital assets.
