On June 24, 2019, TPG Capital announced that it had entered into an agreement to invest in Harlem Capital Partners LLC.
TPG Capital (“TPG”) will make a non-controlling investment in Harlem Capital Partners LLC (“HCP”), and in connection with the deal will commit capital to HCP Fund I. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
HCP is a New York-based minority-owned venture capital firm focused on expanding access to capital to businesses founded by minorities and women in the U.S.
TPG, founded in 1992, is a global private equity firm with more than $108 billion in assets under management.
