TK Partners Acquires Minority Stake in Savanna

On August 16, 2018, TK Partners, a consortium that includes Seward & Kissel client Kudu, announced it had acquired a minority stake in real estate manager Savanna.

Proceeds from the deal will be used to further strengthen the platform, funding working capital and various platform, investment, staffing, and growth initiatives. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Savanna is a NYC-based real estate investment manager focused on real estate equity and debt asset investments.

TK Partners is a consortium of institutional investors formed to acquire a minority equity interest in Savanna. It was founded by Tunbridge Investment Partners, an affiliate of advisory firm Hodes Weill & Associates, LP and Seward & Kissel client, Kudu Investment Management, LLC. A Seward & Kissel team led by partner Meir Grossman and associates Daniel Avezbaki and Kristy Choi represented Kudu in connection with the transaction.
