On February 8, 2023, Hightower Advisors, LLC announced the merger of TC Wealth and EFG Advisors.
Under the terms of the transaction, TC Wealth Partners (“TC Wealth”) has merged with EFG Advisors (“EFG”). The deal was facilitated by Hightower Advisors LLC, which owns TC Wealth. Financial terms were not disclosed.
TC Wealth, based in Chicago, is a wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. TC Wealth oversees approximately $1.65 billion in assets.
EFG, based in Schaumburg, Illinois, is a boutique wealth management and estate planning firm primarily serving businesses. EFG has approximately $800 million in assets under management.
