Tavistock to Acquire County Life and Blacksquare

On May 22, 2014, moneymarketing.co.uk reported that Tavistock Investments had acquired IFA firm County Life & Pensions as well as investment manager Blacksquare, in two separate deals.


On May 22, 2014, moneymarketing.co.uk reported that Tavistock Investments had acquired IFA firm County Life & Pensions as well as investment manager Blacksquare, in two separate deals.  After the transactions are completed, County Life & Pensions will be rebranded as Tavistock Partners.  The acquisition of County Life will add approximately £300 million in assets under advice and will enable Tavistock to develop a national network of self-employed wealth advisers.  After the Blacksquare deal is completed, Blacksquare will be rebranded as Tavistock Wealth and will manage model portfolios for clients on the advisory side of the business.
