On March 2, 2022, Stratos Wealth Enterprises announced that it had acquired a majority stake in NSC Asesores.
Under the terms of the transaction, Stratos Wealth Enterprises (“Stratos”), a subsidiary of Stratos Wealth Holdings (“Stratos Holdings”), has acquired a controlling interest in NSC Asesores (“NSC”). Stratos will control 50.1% of NSC, with NSC’s managing partners retaining a 30% stake. The remaining share is held by a previous investor. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stratos, based in Beachwood, Ohio, is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor. Collectively, Stratos Holdings companies have $23.3 billion in assets under advisement. Stratos is backed by Emigrant Partners, LLC, which helped finance this acquisition.
NSC, based in Mexico City, is an investment advisory firm serving clients in Mexico.
