Stifel to Acquire Ziegler Wealth Management

On October 30, 2017, Stifel Financial Corp. announced an agreement to acquire Ziegler Wealth Management.

Stifel Financial Corp. (“Stifel”) will add approximately $4.8 billion in assets under management and 57 private client advisors from Ziegler Wealth Management (“Ziegler”). The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2018. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Stifel (NYSE:SF) is a St. Louis-based financial services holding company engaged in banking, securities and financial services businesses.

Ziegler is a Chicago-based wealth management business. Its parent company, B.C. Ziegler & Company, is a privately held investment bank focusing on healthcare, senior living, and education sectors.
