On October 11, 2023, Steward Partners announced the acquisition of Sunshine Private Wealth.
Under the terms of the transaction, Steward Partners Global Advisory, LLC (“Steward”) has acquired Sunshine Private Wealth (“Sunshine”). Managing Director and Wealth Manager, Faiza Kedir, will join Steward as partner through a new ‘RIA-only’ channel. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Steward, based in Washington D.C., is an employee-owned, full-service independent partnership catering to family, institutional, and multigenerational wealth. As of August 2023, Steward had approximately $30 billion in assets under management.
Sunshine, based in Sarasota, Florida, is an investment advisory representative. As of October 2023, Sunshine had approximately $170 million in client assets.
