On September 13, 2023, Soderberg & Partners announced investments in each of the UK-based firms Timothy James & Partners, Dartington Wealth Management, and Atherton York.
Under the terms of the transactions, Soderberg & Partners (“Soderberg”) has acquired a majority stake in Timothy James & Partners (“TJP”) and made minority investments in each of Dartington Wealth Management (“Dartington”) and Atherton York (“Atherton”). Further terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Soderberg, based in Sweden, is a wealth management firm offering financial planning and brokerage services. Soderberg has approximately $73 billion in assets under management.
TJP, based in London, is an independent financial advisor offering advise on insurance, pensions, and other financial planning services.
Dartington and Atherton, based in Cambridge and Barnet, UK respectively, are independent financial advisory firms offering wealth management services to individuals and businesses.
