On May 11, 2022, Slate Asset Management announced that it will acquire Presima Inc.
Under the terms of the transaction, Slate Asset Management (“Slate”) will acquire Presima Inc. (“Presima”). 19 members of Presima’s staff will join Slate. The deal is expected to be finalized sometime in the second quarter of this year, pending customary regulatory conditions. Further terms were not disclosed.
Slate, based in Toronto, is an asset management firm specializing in real estate.
Presima, based in Montreal, is a boutique real estate investment firm focusing on the REIT market. Presima has $1.1 billion in assets under management.
