On September 14, 2021, Simplicity Group announced that it acquired Sawtooth Solutions, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Simplicity Group (“Simplicity”) acquired Sawtooth Solutions, LLC (“Sawtooth”). Sawtooth will adopt the Simplicity brand, continuing to serve its existing clients and a new base of advisors in the Simplicity distribution network. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Simplicity, based in Summit, New Jersey, is a financial product distribution company with 27 distribution businesses.
Sawtooth, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a unified managed accounts platform providing investment and technology platforms to advisors. Echelon Partners served as financial advisor to Sawtooth on the transaction.
