Schroders to Acquire Cazenove Capital

On March 25, 2013, Bloomberg reported that Schroders Plc (LSE: SDR) had agreed to purchase Cazenove Capital Holdings, the London-based fund manager, in an all-cash deal for 135 pence per share, totaling £424 million.


On March 25, 2013, Bloomberg reported that Schroders Plc (LSE: SDR) had agreed to purchase Cazenove Capital Holdings Ltd., the London-based fund manager, in an all-cash deal for 135 pence per share, totaling £424 million.  Schroders is Europe’s largest publically traded money manager and, following the transaction, will have approximately £229.2 billion in assets under management.  Cazenove and Schroders are two of the City of London’s oldest firms.
