On October 4, 2022, Savant Wealth Management announced the acquisition of World Trend Financial and Terry Lockridge & Dunn.
Under the terms of the agreement, Savant Wealth Management (“Savant”) will acquire all assets of World Trend Financial (“World Trend”) and Terry Lockridge & Dunn (“Terry”). The deal will see Savant add 37 new employees including 13 who will receive equity. Further terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Savant, headquartered in Rockford, IL is a financial advisory firm that offers investment management, financial planning, and retirement services to both institutions and individuals. Savant has approximately $13.1 billion in assets under management as of May 11, 2022.
World Trend, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a Registered Investment Advisor with $730 million in assets under management as of July 15, 2022.
Terry, also based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is an accounting and consulting firm. Terry shares offices with World Trend and has the same founder.
