Savant Acquires Sortino

On November 19, 2024, Savant Wealth Management announced its acquisition of Sortino Advisory Partners.

Savant Wealth Management (“Savant”) announced, on November 19, 2024, that it acquired Sortino Advisory Partners (“Sortino”). Sortino principals Daniel J. Hutcherson and Stephen A. Heitz joined Savant as financial advisors, managing directors and member-owners as part of the deal. Further terms of the transaction, which closed September 30, 2024, were not disclosed.

Savant, based in Rockford, Illinois, is a fee-only registered investment adviser that offers investment management, financial planning, retirement plans and family office services to financially established individuals and institutions. As of November 2024, Savant had approximately $30 billion in assets under management and assets under advisement.

Sortino, based in Louisville, Kentucky, is a fee-only registered investment adviser offering retirement planning, wealth management and investment strategies services. As of November 2024, Sortino had $239 million in assets under management and $135.7 million in assets under advisement.
