Robertson Stephens Wealth Management (“RS”) announced, on July 10, 2024, that it acquired Rain Capital Management (“Rain Capital”). The acquisition was structured with a mix of cash and equity. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
RS, based in San Francisco, is a registered investment advisor that offers financial planning and investment advisory services. As of April 2024, RS had over $4.9 billion in assets under management.
Rain Capital, based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, is a registered investment advisor that offers financial planning, risk management, and portfolio construction services. Rain Capital manages approximately $360 million in client assets.
