On November 15, 2021, Pure Financial Advisors, LLC announced an agreement to acquire Kaufman Kampe Advisors LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction Pure Financial Advisors, LLC (“Pure Financial”) will acquire Kaufman Kampe Advisors LLC (“Kaufman Kampe”). Lori Kaufman and Valerie Kampe will join Pure Financial and will continue to serve existing clients. The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Pure Financial is a fee-only registered investment advisor specializing in retirement planning and tax-optimized investment management. As of September 30, 2021, Pure Financial had approximately $3.7 billion in assets under management. Pure Financial is backed by Seward & Kissel client Emigrant Partners and recently received an investment from Lee Equity Partners.
Kaufman Kampe, based in Mercer Island, Washington is registered investment adviser. Kaufman Kampe has over $170 million in assets under management.
