On July 1, 2022, it was announced that Pro Ice Management Group Inc. will be joining Cardinal Point Capital Management ULC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Pro Ice Management Group Inc. (“Pro Ice”) will join Cardinal Point Capital Management ULC (“Cardinal Point”) in the third quarter of 2022. As part of the deal, the entire Pro Ice team will join Cardinal Point, with Tyler Skinner and Grant Skinner joining as Directors of Cardinal Point Sports Management. Further terms were not disclosed.
Pro Ice, headquartered in Winnipeg, Canada, is a wealth management firm providing business management, tax planning, and family office services primarily to current and former professional hockey players in the United States and Canada. DeVoe & Company advised Pro Ice on the deal.
Cardinal Point, based in Toronto, is an independent wealth management firm providing investment, estate, tax, and cross-border financial planning solutions to individuals in the United States and Canada.
