Polen to Acquire DDJ Capital

On December 7, 2021, Polen Capital Management announced that it will acquire DDJ Capital Management.

Under the terms of the transaction, Polen Capital Management (“Polen”) will acquire DDJ Capital Management (“DDJ”). DDJ’s investment professionals will operate as an autonomous investment team within Polen, overseen by David Breazzano, DDJ’s president and chief investment officer. Breazzano will also join Polen’s operating committee. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Polen, based in Boca Raton, Florida, is an investment manager serving both institutional and individual clients. Polen has over $80 billion in assets and is backed by Seward & Kissel client iM Global Partner.

DDJ, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, is an investment manager specializing in the high yield market. As of November 30, 2021, DDJ had approximately $8.2 billion in assets under management. Berkshire Global Advisors served as financial advisor to DDJ on the transaction.
