Polar Asset Management Partners (“Polar”) announced, on May 12, 2025, its acquisition of Castlefield Associates (“Castlefield”). Under the terms of the transaction, Castlefield’s existing team will join Polar. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Polar, based in Toronto, is a registered investment advisor specializing in niche-oriented investment strategies. As of December 31, 2024, Polar managed approximately $6.1 billion in assets across its primary funds.
Castlefield, based in Toronto, is a systematic alternative investment manager investing in equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities, cash equities, and volatility products.
