Piper Sandler Companies published its 2022 Asset & Wealth Manager Transaction Review and 2023 Forecast. Wealth and asset management transactions reached record highs in 2022 for the second year in a row, as measured by the total number of transactions. There were a record 397 transactions in 2021, and 2022 broke that record with 401 transactions. Piper Sandler predicts that asset and wealth management transactions will remain robust in 2023, with a focus on alternative asset management.
