Pavilion Financial to Acquire Jeffery Slocum & Associates

On September 13, 2016, Pavilion Financial Corporation announced an agreement to acquire Jeffery Slocum & Associates, Inc., an investment advisor based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Upon closing, Pavilion Financial Corporation (“Pavilion”) will combine Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, Inc. (“Slocum”) with its institutional investment consulting subsidiary. Slocum will continue to operate out of its current offices, with senior management, consultants and researchers becoming shareholders in Pavilion. Moreover, after a brief transition period, Jeffery Slocum, founder of Slocum, will retire. The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to closing conditions.

Founded in 2006, Pavilion is an investment-services firm that offers investment and implemented consulting, transition management, securities trading and wealth management.

Established in 1986, Slocum provides enterprise risk modeling, asset allocation and liability studies, and risk-management services to institutional clients. It advises on approximately $125 billion in client assets.
