On April 11, 2023, Pacific Current Group Limited announced an investment in Cordillera Investment Partners.
Under the terms of the transaction, Pacific Current Group Limited (“Pacific Current”) acquired a 16.4% revenue share in Cordillera Investment Partners, LP (“Cordillera”) and a right to 24.9% of proceeds in the event of a sale. Pacific Current invested a total of $30 million as part of the deal with Cordillera expected to provide Pacific Current with $2-$2.5 million in management fees in 2024.
Pacific Current (ASX:PAC), based in Sydney, Australia, is an asset management firm focused on partnering with investment managers.
Cordillera is a San-Francisco based private equity firm focusing on investments in niche sectors. Cordillera manages approximately $1.5 billion in client assets.
