Old Mutual Wealth Acquires Henderson Stake in Cirilium

Old Mutual Wealth announced on May 1, 2014 that it had agreed to acquire Henderson Global Investor’s ownership stake in Cirilium, a multi-manager joint venture with adviser network Intrinsic.


On May 1, 2014, Old Mutual Wealth announced that it had agreed to acquire Henderson Global Investor’s 50% ownership stake in Intrinsic Cirilium Investment Company Limited (Cirilium), a £1.5 billion multi-manager joint venture with adviser network Intrinsic. In addition, Old Mutual Wealth has agreed to acquire Intrinsic and, upon completion of both acquisitions, will own 100% of Cirilium. Following the closing, Old Mutual Global Investors, the asset management business of Old Mutual Wealth, will serve as the investment manager for Cirilium and its funds. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2014 and is subject to regulatory approval.  Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
