NewGAMe and Bruellan Invest in GAM

On April 27, 2023, it was announced that NewGAMe SA and Bruellan SA acquired a minority stake in Swiss asset manager GAM.

Under the terms of the transaction, NewGAMe SA and Bruellan SA have acquired a combined 7.5 percent stake in GAM, equivalent to approximately 12 million shares in the company. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

NewGAMe SA, based in Geneva, Switzerland, is controlled by Rock Investment, a subsidiary of NJJ Holding. NJJ Holding is the personal holding company of French tech investor Xavier Niel.

Bruellan SA, based in Geneva, Switzerland, is a global wealth management company. As of 2021, Bruellan SA had $3.86 billion in assets under management.

GAM, based in Zurich, Switzerland, is a global asset management firm. GAM has both an investment management division and a fund administration division that offers private label funds and provides various services to third party funds. As of March 31, 2023, GAM had $79.08 billion in assets under management.
