New York Life to Acquire Dexia Asset Management

On September 25, 2013, Dexia announced that it had signed an agreement to sell Dexia Asset Management to New York Life Investments for €380 million.  

On September 25, 2013, Dexia announced that it had signed an agreement to sell Dexia Asset Management to New York Life Investments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company, for €380 million.  Dexia previously announced that it had entered into exclusive negotiations with New York Life Investments on September 19, 2013 following an auction process.  Dexia Asset Management provides investment solutions for its client base across 25 counties and has €74 billion in assets under management.  The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
