Navigator to Acquire Minority Interest in Longreach

On September 7, 2021, Navigator Global Investments Limited announced that it will acquire a minority ownership interest in Longreach Alternatives Ltd.

Under the terms of the transaction, Navigator Global Investments Limited (“NGI”) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 32% ownership interest in Longreach Alternatives Ltd (“Longreach”). NGI will acquire the interest from non-employee Longreach shareholders, and the investment will be made from NGI’s existing financial resources.  The transaction is expected to close September 30, 2021. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

NGI (ASX:NGI), based in Brisbane, is a diversified asset management holding company that partners with management teams operating institutional quality businesses, primarily in the alternative investment management sector. As of June 30, 2021, NGI had approximately AU$20.9 billion in assets under management. Berkshire Global Advisors served as financial advisor to NGI on the transaction.

Longreach, based in Sydney, is an investment management firm providing business funds management support and infrastructure to alternative investment managers. As of June 30, 2021, Longreach had approximately AU$1.6 billion in assets under management and advisement.
