On February 15, 2022, Mountain Capital Investment Advisors announced its partnership with Merchant Investment Management, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Mountain Capital Investment Advisors (“Mountain Capital”) will receive a strategic minority investment from Merchant Investment Management, LLC (“Merchant”). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mountain Capital, based in Denver, is a registered investment advisor which specializes in providing services to clients in the aviation and airline industries. Mountain Capital has approximately $300 million in assets under management. Republic Capital Group advised Mountain Capital on the deal.
Merchant, based in New York, is a private partnership offering growth capital and management resources to wealth and investment management firms.
