On August 3, 2022, MGO Investment Advisors Inc. announced its merger with We Are One Seven, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, MGO Investment Advisors Inc. (“MGO”) merged with We Are One Seven, LLC (“One Seven”). As part of the transaction, Merchant Investment Management, LLC (“Merchant”) made a minority investment in One Seven. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
MGO, based in Ohio, is a registered investment advisor offering retirement plan consulting and 401(k) wealth management services to clients.
One Seven, based in Ohio, is a wealth management firm offering retirement services to its clients. As of August 3, 2022, One Seven had approximately $2.8 billion in assets under management.
Merchant, based in New York, is a private partnership providing growth capital and management resources to independent financial services companies, particularly those focused on wealth and asset management.
