On July 31, 2023, Morgan Dempsey Capital announced it had entered a partnership with Merchant Investment Management, LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Merchant Investment Management, LLC (“Merchant”) has formed a strategic partnership with Morgan Dempsey Capital (“Morgan Dempsey”) to expand risk management capabilities between the firms. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Merchant, based in New York, is a private partnership providing growth capital and management resources to independent financial services companies, particularly those focused on wealth and asset management.
Morgan Dempsey, based in Milwaukee, is a boutique asset manager. Morgan Dempsey manages approximately $600 million in client assets.
