On February 8, 2022, Merchant Investment Management, LLC announced that it had acquired a minority stake in Inspirion Wealth Advisors.
Under the terms of the transaction, Merchant Investment Management, LLC (“Merchant”) acquired a minority stake in Inspirion Wealth Advisors (“Inspirion”). The deal closed in December 2021. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Merchant, based in New York, is a private partnership providing growth capital, management resources, strategic opportunities and direction to independent financial services companies, particularly those focused on wealth and asset management.
Inspirion, based in Illinois, is a registered investment advisor that provides wealth management services to families.
