On March 8, 2022, Merchant Investment Management, LLC announced that it had acquired a minority stake in Crescent Bay Advisors.
Under the terms of the transaction, Merchant Investment Management, LLC (“Merchant”) acquired a minority stake in Crescent Bay Advisors (“CBA”). Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Merchant, based in New York, New York, is a private partnership providing growth capital, management resources, strategic opportunities and direction to independent financial services companies, particularly those focused on wealth and asset management.
CBA, based in Corona del Mar, California, provides financial advice and coordination to high-net-worth individuals, families and private foundations.
