On February 18, 2025, Mercer Investments announced its agreement to acquire SECOR Asset Management.
Mercer Investments LLC (“Mercer”) announced on February 18, 2025, that it reached an agreement to acquire SECOR Asset Management (“SECOR”). The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025. As part of the agreement, SECOR’s more than 40 colleagues in New York and London will join Mercer upon completion of the transaction. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mercer, based in New York, is a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC) and a consulting firm offering investment management and retirement planning services. As of December 2024, Mercer and its affiliated companies had approximately $617 billion in assets under management.
SECOR, based in New York, is an asset management firm offering investment advisory and risk management solutions. As of September 2024, SECOR had approximately $21.5 billion in assets under management.
