Mercer Acquires Chapel & Collins and Waypoint Capital

On November 12, Mercer Global Advisors, Inc. announced that it acquired Chapel & Collins, LLC and Waypoint Capital Advisors.

Mercer Global Advisors, Inc. (“Mercer”) announced, on November 12, 2024, that it had acquired Chapel & Collins, LLC (“Chapel & Collins”) and Waypoint Capital Advisors (“Waypoint”). Further terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Mercer, based in Denver, is a registered investment advisor that provides fee-based investment management, financial planning, family office services, retirement benefits and distribution planning, estate and tax planning, insurance solutions, and corporate trustee and trust administration services. As of early December 2024, Mercer had over $45 billion in assets under management.

Chapel & Collins, based in Fort Collins, Colorado, is a registered investment advisor that offers wealth management services and specializes in serving business owners, retirees and pre-retirees. Chapel & Collins had approximately $675 million in assets under management.

Waypoint, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a registered investment advisor that focuses on serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Waypoint had nearly $1 billion in assets under management.
